As defined by The City of Ann Arbor’s Code of Ordinances, “It shall be unlawful for any person to create, assist in creating, permit, continue or permit the continuance of any unreasonably loud, disturbing, unusual or unnecessary noise which annoys, disturbs, injures, or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of others within the limits of the City of Ann Arbor.”
Noise. Making excessive noise or creating any disturbance late at night (after 11:00 pm) or early in the morning (before 8:00 am) is prohibited. Complaints to Baker Street of noise from property neighbors, the City, or HOA shall be shared with the Tenants, and the Tenants shall be subject to fines and fees.
If the noise issue involves a neighbor or property that we do not manage, then you can encourage the tenant to report the noise disturbance by calling the Ann Arbor Police Department at 734-994-2911.
If the noise issue involves a neighboring tenant, then please reach out to Baker Street via email to share your noise concern. We will correspond with the other tenant to share the concern and ask that they are respectful of their neighbors and keep excessive noise to a minimum.
For consistent noise violation issues, we may assess a fee, here is our fee structure --
