We are happy to report that we made it through the month of January without any major issues at most properties! Between the polar vortex and the major thaw following it the possibility for burst pipes was quite high. For those tenants who reported water or heat issues we were happy to be able to resolve those issues quickly. Our emergency maintenance system seems to be working very well and we are happy to be able to provide emergency assistance for tenants 24/7.
We had 3 significant snow/ice storms this month in Ann Arbor so owners who provide snow removal will see those costs in their statements this month. With the mild November and December we had we are still well under our estimated cost of snow removal services for the year. We will see what type of weather February brings, it is always a mixed bag here in Michigan!
We are starting to roll out help pages on our website for both tenants, potential renters and owners. Please take a look at our City of Ann Arbor Inspection Guide to learn more about how we help you pass rental inspections required by the City ever 3 years.
